Yup! Benjamin Franklin!!!! He came in handing out 'pocket' constitutions and was ready and willing to answer any and all questions. Benjamin Franklin is a man who did it all according to Ben himself
This role play was done to show us what we can do for our students. Talk about engaging! How can you NOT pay attention to someone in costume from over 300 years ago??? I loved it! I will most definitely use role play in my planning as a teacher. Students learn more and remember more when they are actively participating and not just listening to a lecture about dates and names!!!
What was great was he really was in character and made our class that much more enjoyable! I look forward to making my content as engaging as it was in class tonight!
